Automotive Service Advisor
As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers have an exceptional experience when they bring their vehicles in for service, repairs, or maintenance. You will be responsible for scheduling appointments, providing repair and maintenance recommendations, and communicating with customers throughout the service process.
Key Responsibilites
- Greet customers when they arrive and schedule appointments, ensuring that their service experience is prompt and efficient.
- Obtain vehicle information and identify customer needs and concerns, and provide expert repair and maintenance recommendations.
- Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles and any additional repairs or maintenance that may be needed, keeping them informed every step of the way.
- Prepare detailed service estimates and review them with customers, ensuring that they understand the scope of the work and the costs involved.
- Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction with the service provided and address any concerns they may have.
- Coordinate and schedule work with the service team and maintain accurate service records using computer-based systems.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and efficient manner, building trust and loyalty with our customers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and loyalty with our customers.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and services, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask, with proficiency in computer-based systems and software.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Prior experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
